With this release, the London based producer delivers dark and subdued track featuring his customary sounds of vinyl crackle, distorted vocal samples and brooding synth pads that dolefully circle round and round in repetition. This is the second single taken off his forthcoming Everything in Quotes “Dark” EP set for release on October 20th.

With female director Miri Stevens, she utilises abstract visuals to communicate powerful and intriguing messages that explore the ability of the human mind to retreat into preferred ideals and beliefs away from realities’ harshness and truths.
George Kwali – ‘When It Breaks’
An instantly addictive smash, ‘When It Breaks’ instantly reels you in with its hyped blend of UK house and drum and bass production. A destined club floor-filler, the well-crafted track features the amplified, anthemic vocal from Lonestate that transcends and resonates throughout, cooking up the energy and completely immersing the listener. ‘When It Breaks’ follows one of last year’s biggest tribal house tracks ‘Crank It (Woah!)’ which features Nadia Rose and Sweetie Irie and adds to George Kwali’s signature tone, which will lead him to prove his influence through unleashing more dynamic sounds that will resonate memorably within the current music climate in the UK and beyond.
Justin Nozuka- ‘All I Need’
Finally, Nozuka is back with three new singles including ‘All I Need.’ The Canadian/American singer took a break from writing and recording for almost three years and All I Need’ is worth the wait. With beautiful lyrics accompanied by upbeat guitar chords, the official video depicts Nozuka playing around with his friends out in the country as he sings ‘you were all I need.’ This song cannot help but make you smile.
Miley Cyrus – ‘Love Someone’
‘Younger Now’ was one of the most anticipated albums of the year and Cyrus has been teasing us all summer long, dropping singles from the record until it’s release last week. Her music has evolved immensely and incorporates a deeper rock and country sound. ‘Love Someone’ is a powerful song that features a catchy chorus and some heavy guitar playing – a real stand-out on the collection.
Petit Biscuit ft. Panama- ‘Waterfall’
At age 17, Petit Biscuit has written and produced several tracks and has released everything himself. It’s hard to believe his roots are in classical music with a track as electronic as this. Get ready for his forthcoming studio album, ‘Presence’ coming out in November.
Echosmith -‘Get Into My Car’
Echosmith strikes gold again with their newest EP, ‘Inside a Dream,’ the first since 2013’s ‘Talking Dreams.’ The band consists of two brothers and a sister who formed in California during 2009. ‘Get Into My Car’ has a Tegan and Sara vibe with a 80’s twist.
Mike Mago & Tiggi Hawke – ‘Dangerous Behaviour’
Spindle favourite Tiggi Hawke is back with new single ‘Dangerous Behaviour’, a huge new dance-pop bop with heavyweight Dutch DJ/Producer Mike Mago. The pair push each other out of their usual comfort zones in this Friday dancefloor masterpiece. “It was written about a very positive experience, so the song has a lot of energy and is quite playful. It’s about letting go and challenging someone to keep up with what they started,” Tiggi explains.
BANKS – ‘Underdog’
Also making a return this week is Los Angeles noir-pop seductress BANKS. New single ‘Underdog’ comes after a summer back-to-back with festival appearances, and sees her team up with Al Shux again, responsible for last year’s excellent ‘Fuck With Myself’. ‘Underdog’ is a sharp direction for the singer, loaded with synth stabs, growls and a cutting vocal.
Xavier Omar – ‘Runnin’ Round’
Xavier finally releases new music with this slick R&B track ‘ Runnin’ Round’. The soulful crooner graced up with his highly acclaimed debut EP ‘The Everlasting Wave’ last year and now announced his first headline tour in the US titled ‘Pink Lighting Tour’. Definitely one artist not to sleep on.
Alina Baraz – ‘Buzzin’
Currently on tour with Coldplay in North America, the mesmerising Alina Baraz treated us to two new tracks ‘Buzzin’ and ‘Lavender and Velvet’. Produced by Ben Billions, ‘Buzzin’ got a coveted spot on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show where it premiered this week.
Beau Pearl – ‘There Is A Fire In Heaven’
Berlin-based artist Beau Pearl comes riding into town with his debut track, ‘There Is A Fire In Heaven’ (co-written and produced by Igor Bruso aka Deaths). In a city rampant with techno, Beau Pearl cuts a distinct figure with his uniquely queer perspective and own blend of melodrama and romance infused alt-pop. Swooning strings, Hollywood guitars and whiplash drums climax in an operatic falsetto outro, whilst the sombre track’s heartfelt lyrics are the signature calling card of an artist that declares, “I just want to make beautiful things.” We can’t get enough of this!
