BLACK is an immersive experience that combines music, design, and contemporary art to transform spaces into amazing events, refusing to be pinned down to a single artistic medium. After success in New York City, this unique concept is heading to Mexico City for a one-off event at the abandoned Hotel Reforma. On Saturday 4th March, a 15,000 square foot space in the hotel will be transformed into a sanctuary for performance, as well as making use of the many floors and outdoor spaces to showcase art and design. House music legend Seth Troxler, of International renown, will headline the event, alongside Brooklyn-based DJ Thugfucker, and there will also be live music from Moon Runner and Superstudio.

Meanwhile, art has been curated by Ana Perez, with work by local Mexican artists such as Paolo Montiel, Pablo Davila, and Aldo Chaparro being showcased at the event. Hotel Reforma is located in the city’s bohemian neighbourhood Zona Rosa, which is known for it’s gay-friendly attitude, entertainment and nightlife. “Mexico City, with its rich culture and unique spirit, is fast becoming one of the most exciting cities on the planet,” said, Brett Kincaid, Co-Founder of BLACK, “Like New York, it has a mysterious allure, which is coarse in some ways and inspirationally elegant in others. This juxtaposition is reflective of BLACK as a concept.”

BLACK Mexico City is on Saturday 4th March 2017 at Hotel Reforma. Click here for tickets.
