Philippines Unplugged: Jam Sessions and Exploring Waterfalls with Skinny Living

  • Words: Spindle

In episode 4 of STA Travel‘s ‘Philippines Unplugged’ with indie four-piece Skinny Living, the guys sail from their overnight stop in ‘Exotic Island’ to the nearby village of Albaguen, where they meet the locals, play basketball, and hold a jam session with the school kids. Then it’s time to set sail again to the mainland, where they explore a beautiful waterfall, swimming in the stunning secluded waters and climbing the rocks.

As the day comes to an end, on a whim the band purchase an eel to eat for dinner that night, excited to try it for the first time. The guys say they can completely see why Port Barton, where they are sailing, is known as ‘the last paradise,’ with its extreme beauty, total disconnect from the modern world, and focus on a natural lifestyle. It certainly does look like the perfect place to unwind.
