  • Words: Spindle

In episode 2 of STA Travel‘s ‘Philippines Unplugged’ YouTube series, indie-soul four-piece  Skinny Living visit Puerto Princesa’s breathtaking subterranean river as part of their 10-day tour across the Philippines. The video series, born from STA Travel’s initiative to encourage the younger generation to spread their wings beyond typical travel destinations, follows the four bandmates as they experience their very own idea of paradise.

And as far as we can tell from Skinny Living’s trip so far, the Philippines seems like a pretty good place to find yourself in. In this episode, we see the band travel on a wooden catamaran to secluded shores before boating up 4.3km of underground river caves, as well as the experiencing singer Ryan Johnston work on the beginnings of a song inspired by his time in the country so far.
