You’ll be familiar with Sidonie’s name, she’s founder of the amazing Papersmiths in Bristol, UK, we caught up with Sid today to hear about her female inspirations!


Tell us about your 5 most inspiring people who are pro female –

1. Family/Friend

So many. My Mum’s great. I grew up believing that anything was possible.


2. Musician

3. Visual Artist

Georgia O’Keeffe because she was surrounded by male contemporaries who could be critical of female artists. She said ‘The men liked to put me down as the best woman painter. I think I’m one of the best painters’. Too right Georgia.

4. Fashion Designer

Rachel Comey supported her staff in attending marches in the US this year, donated part of her profits to planned parent hood and vocally encouraged other brands to do what they could, whether that was to send buses or support the movement on social media. Besides her credentials for enabling people to speak up her jeans are super comfy, not to mentions stylish.

Sarah Sophie Flicker, activist. Her Instagram feed is full of inspirational quotes, words of wisdom and photographic insights into her involvement in the movement towards equality.
