In Pictures: Mr Jukes @ Village Underground, London

Thursday 13 July 2017

Earlier this week we went to watch Mr Jukes perform at the sold-out Village Underground in London. This was the first performance by Mr Jukes – aka Jack Steadman, frontman of Bombay Bicycle Club – as he prepares to release his debut album ‘God First’ this Friday (14th July).

After spending the last couple of years travelling the world and in the studio working on his debut album, Mr Jukes did not disappoint as he took to the stage with a nine piece band, playing a captivating show performing songs from the album, plus a cover of Lauren Hill’s ‘Doo Wap (That Thing).’ Be sure not to miss him when he heads out on a UK tour this autumn, including a show at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

Have a listen to Mr. Jukes’ latest single ‘Leap of Faith’ below, and browse through our photos of Mr. Jukes’ debut gig.
