As Ibiza season comes to a close for another year, The Social Festival returns to Maidstone for another world-class techno weekender, bringing a taste of the island to the Kent countryside to see out the summer.
The Social Festival, a boutique house and techno event curated by Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Nic Fanciulli, will be returning for its fifth year to the Kent County Showground in Maidstone on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th September.
The event promises to be a weekend of high-quality sound and production, with London clubbing institution fabric set to host “The Barn” stage on the Saturday for sets by techno masters such as Nina Kraviz, Helena Hauff and Function. Sasha & John Digweed are also billed to return to the festival’s “Meadow” arena following an iconic reunion performance at The Social in 2016, and the pair will be showcasing their brand, “Resistance”, throughout the two-day affair. Other confirmed acts include elite DJs such as Carl Cox, Black Coffee, The Martinez Brothers, and many more, making this a weekend not to be missed.
Each of the festival’s stages are completely covered to allow you to experience this Ibiza-standard lineup no matter how British the weather, and there are both camping and glamping options available for those who want to party in total luxury. The boutique campsites boast private wash areas, themed tents and shopping outlets, making for an ideal festival experience that has been recognised by DJ Mag as the Best Boutique Festival of 2015 and the Best Dance Festival of 2016.
