It’s the end of another week, and Spindle are back to round up our favourite fashion news items just for you.

Chris Hughes sheds a tear for Topman and CALM to raise awareness for World Mental Health Day.

If you’d told me in June that one day I’d be near weeping with joy watching Chris from Love Island stand up against mental health stigma in men in partnership with Topman and the Campaign Against Living Miserably, I’d have told you you’d lost your head – and yet, here we are. Despite a rocky first impression, Hughes ended up as a finalist on the ITV reality show alongside now-girlfriend Olivia Attwood this summer, largely on the strength of his charm and unabashed emotional openness. Throughout the show, he was sensitive and affectionate – qualities rarely seen from men in a genre of television that usually favours men with masculine complexes more glaring than their fake tan. He’s been open about struggling with anxiety in the past, and is has now paired with the fashion retailer to encourage other men not to ‘bottle up’ their emotions with a parodic video campaign advertising ‘L’Eau de Chris’ – a bottle of water infused with a single Chris Hughes tear. Louis Vuitton announce Emma Stone as their latest ambassador 

It’s been a big year for actress Emma Stone – after picking up a slew of awards, including an Oscar and a Golden Globe, for her role in La La Land earlier this year, she’s now been tapped for a six-figure endorsement of luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton. The campaign will reportedly feature glossy magazine ads as well as TV ads worldwide. Previous ambassadors include actress Alicia Vikander, Uma Thurman, and Angelina Jolie – quite the set of alumni to join. Stone is currently promoting her film Battle of the Sexes about the 1973 tennis showdown between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs, in which Stone stars as King.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner return to Topshop for another collab – this time: lingerie

‘Beautiful lingerie shouldn’t be completely hidden under clothes anymore,’ the pair aver on Topshop’s website – and indeed, many of the pieces, inspired by the sisters’ personal style, are too nice to keep under wraps. From lacy bralets, to dusty pink velvet bodies, to a full-on mesh catsuit, the collection certainly makes a statement – though we’re not quite sure it’ll have us peeling off the layers in London this winter. Levi’s celebrate the 50th birthday of their iconic Trucker jacket

The legendary denim brand who literally invented jeans celebrated the 50th birthday of their Trucker jacket this week with a massive party at their Haus in L.A. The retailer also celebrated by tapping 50 creatives from around the world to put their personal touches on the Type III Trucker Jacket, including artists such as Solange Knowles, Chance the Rapper, Karlie Kloss, and Snoop Dogg. We’re smitten with Solange’s offering – the pale denim, the longline cut, the horizontal lace across the middle… It’s visionary, just like its stylist, and we love the way she’s wearing it here.
