Pixie Lott has been in the game for a long time. Her debut single, ‘Mama Do (Uh Oh Uh Oh)’ was released when she was only eighteen, and catapulted itself almost immediately to the top of the UK charts, where it spent a week at number one, eleven weeks in the top 40, and reached the top 40 in eleven other countries.
Since this meteoric rise, Lott has managed to keep things exciting. She has released several more albums, competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2014, starred as Holly Golightly in a 12-week run of Breakfast at Tiffany’s at the Theatre Royal, and worked as a judge on The Voice Kids UK alongside will.i.am and McFly’s Danny Jones, to name just a few of her projects. She brought out her new single ‘Won’t Forget You’, featuring Stylo G, at the end of September, and it’s an upbeat pop gem with a sincere sweetness at its centre – much like the star herself.
Now, Pixie sits down with Spindle to discuss her new single and her career so far. Watch the exclusive interview right here, and watch the video for ‘Won’t Forget You’ below:
