Already dubbed ‘Beychella’ by the masses, from girl group nostalgia, viral superstars or anything in between, this year’s festival has had it all. Now the dust has settled in Coachella Valley, here’s our round-up of the best moments of the weekend:

Cardi B continuing her quest for world domination feat. baby bump

Belcalis Almanzar (Cardi’s real name) had some special guests this year; Chance The Rapper, 21 Savage, YG, Kehlani and G-Eazy aren’t a bad roster. However, the person we were most excited about was safely tucked away in her stomach somewhere.

Vince Staples bringing out Kendrick Lamar

California’s finest teamed up for a performance of ‘Yeah Right’ from Staples’ 2017 album, ‘Big Fish Theory’. Two rappers at the top of their game going bar for bar over one of the best beats of last year.

Yodelling Walmart Kid showing us all that we should follow our memes

Earlier this month, a video of Mason Ramsey yodelling in a Walmart took the world by storm. This weekend, he jumped on stage at Coachella to give the internet exactly what they wanted. Jokes aside, the kid is remarkably confident on stage for an 11-year-old, but this whole thing is still very 2018.

MØ continuing to be a Really Good Popstar™

An eclectic set of early ones for the OG fans and performing the big hitters alongside Diplo and Charli XCX. MØ does a great feature, but she’s also a certified star in her own right.

Beyoncé reuniting Destiny’s Child as part of a set so good that people are naming the festival in her honour

Of course we’ve saved the best ’til last. Bey, Kelly and Michelle performed ‘Lose My Breath’, ‘Say My Name’ and ‘Soldier’ to the screams of nostalgic fans. The first black woman to headline the festival, even after all she’s achieved, Beyoncé continues to inspire.
