Loop’s “Give ‘n’ Take” is sassy pop with a soaring chorus produced by Hight, who has previously worked with Lily Allen and Rita Ora. Personal yet tongue-in-cheek, she’s already received backing from pop royalty Elton John and supported Jonas Blue on his headline EU tour.
Ever wondered what it’s like to be and up and coming pop star? Wonder no further, and live vicariously through Loop.
Had the pleasure of being invited to a couple of LFW shows which I loved as I’ve not been before, and then saw my babes Sian Nuttall and Harriet Rose at the Jaded x Smashbox pop-up in Fitzrovia where we tried on some of Jaded’s spring/summer collection which I looove.
LFW again! A day of taking over Missguided’s Snapchat ended with a pornstar martini (or two) with my friend Charlotte. On a school night! #wild
1. Outside the studio after recording the acoustic version of Give n Take which is out on Spotify and Apple etc on the 6th of April! <3
2. Pre-drinks at my mate’s before the Warner Brits afterparty – not my best photo but hey it is tough when it’s not on an iPhone and you can’t take 100s of shots til you find your best angle (jk I don’t do that…) and also excuse the weird markings on the Polaroid… it was in my clutch bag all night and it was a long night!
1. A really fun writing session at Soho Recording Studios with the very talented Tom Stafford and Alex Charles. We wrote a tune called Sexpectation and I’m a bit obsessed with it.
2. At a Nando’s music event on Frith Street – ate way too many chips cos I’ve given up meat for lent so had to resist the temptation of that sweeeet peri peri chicken by feasting on peri peri wedges instead. Great lil DJ set from SG Lewis and live set from Yxng Bane.
2 writing sessions in a day (with a quick change in between!). First with the lovely Danny from The Six, and second with the amazing Oscar Scheller <3
2 lil photoshoots in one day! One with Aaron Crossman who shot my Give n Take artwork and also the artwork for my next single which is out next month! And then one for Sacred Hawk clothing which was a lot of fun. Then me and my MUA/gawjus mate Chess made the most of the shoot makeup by going for some drinks (and takin Polaroid pics of ourselves obviously).
Little writing trip up north to Liverpool… This was at Parr Street Studios just after we finished recording a new demo called Build-A-Boy. We got really carried away discussing grand plans for the music video… Then we went to the most delicious restaurant called Mowgli’s… Would highly recommend.
Thanks again to Loop! Check out her video for “Give ‘n’ Take” below and then give the remix by Syn Cole a listen too!
