Seeb x Dagny – ‘Drink About’

Worldwide chart toppers Seeb are joining forces with emerging popstar Dagny on their brand-new single, ‘Drink About’. ‘Drink About’ is the first single to be lifted from Seeb’s forthcoming EP, ‘Nice To Meet You,’ set to be released on April 20th, and follows on from 2017’s ‘Cruel World’, which was a collaboration with Skip Marley. Having already amassed over 1M streams in less than a week, ‘Drink About’ is set to domainate dancefloors and clubland throughout Summer 2018.

Alina Baraz -‘Floating’ ft. Khalid.

Alina Baraz has released a surprise album titled The Color of You and video for the song ‘I Don’t Even Know Why Though’ and she stays true to her genuine sound in stunning fashion. Carving a  sultry masterpiece throughout the 10 track record, Baraz has released another radiant masterpiece with Khalid. Following their masterful work on the single ‘Electric’ the two return again for another effortless release with ‘Floating’.

Georgia Meek – ‘Bare’

Surrey native Georgia Meek is an artist who has the rare ability to permeate wisdom through her music well beyond her years. With the release of her latest single ‘Bare’ Georgia gets very personal in a retrospective manner that she hopes will connect and liberate younger girls when they listen to the beautifully crafted vocal. With the resounding success of her past single ‘Black Dog’ look for ‘Bare’ to escalate the 23 year old to more budding success.

A$AP Rocky – ‘A$AP Forever’

The long awaited return of A$AP Rocky is finally over, with the recent release of his single ‘Bad Company’ he elevates his artistry even further with the latest single. The track is heavily sampled from Moby’s ‘Porcelain’ and was headlined by a performance on the tonight show with Jimmy Fallon.  With the release of Rocky’s album imminent we will be watching the activity of the Harlem-bred rapper closely.

Odie – ‘Story’

Alternative hip-hop act Odie is an artist everyone needs to keep tabs on in 2018. With the release of his album Analogue the Bay Area/Toronto hybrid showcases a progressive hip-hop style that flows in a relaxingly irresistible nature. ‘Story’ is the lead track on the album and gives a hint at the massive amount of talent the 21 year old up and comer is working with.

Saba – SMILE’

Chicago rapper Saba is another budding artist to drop an album this past week. Always having the stand out ability to coalesce themes in his lyrics with a personal tinge the album is full of captivating identity. ‘Smile’ is the stand out track talking about his background of struggle and influence from a west-Chicago apartment complex and diving into themes describing his past and just how far he has come.

Stevie Appleton – ‘Supposed To Do’

Stevie Appleton has released new single ‘Supposed To Do’ which announces the young artist as one to watch in 2018. The track combines his singer-songwriter style with electronic production creating a new sound that spans across many genres. He shares a love for both those genres and this song reflects the marriage of the two. Stevie will be performing at The Great Escape this May and has announced a few UK dates this Autumn.

 John Legend – ‘A Good Night’

John Legend has released a funky disco track about meeting someone you connect with when you least expect it. His smooth vocals are complimented by BloodPop’s tight production. The video for the song shows what a dating app would look like in real life and how people make connections in a way that is relevant today. This track is sure to bring people joy and will be a go-to for DJ’s this summer.

Elton John – ‘Revamp’

Sir Elton John has recently announced his farewell tour and some of today’s biggest acts have created a revamp album of his greatest hits in dedication. It includes reimagined versions of his hits by artists such as Lady Gaga, Coldplay, P!nk, Logic, Ed Sheeran, Demi Lovato, The Killers, and many more. It also includes remastered versions sung by Sir Elton himself. The pop-focused Revamp and country-inspired Restoration album highlights the long-time collaboration with songwriting partner Bernie Taupin.

 Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa – ‘One Kiss’

Summer is almost here which means another Calvin Harris collaboration. This time, with one of the biggest pop stars at the moment, Dua Lipa. The song has a 90s feel to it combined with piano and horns with Calvin’s signature electronic sound as well as Dua Lipa’s now recognisable vocals.
