In 2013, he was the winner of the Shure Songwriting Award which led him to support Frank Turner on tour. Now, Uri Sade is back with a new EP, No Trace of Sound. The Tel Aviv singer was the first artist to be signed to Jamie Scott’s (One Direction, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Jessie Ware) new label BSW.
The first track from his EP, A Thousand Ringing Bells he explains as “A post break up song. It combines both the happy nostalgic feelings and the hard painful feelings of a past relationship. The video is meant to show that in-between situation when you’re wanting to move forward but can’t get away from looking back to what you had.”
Uri has been said to be working on his next EP under Scott’s guidance and judging by this one its set to be a goodun.
