Brockhampton Announce Documentary

Thursday 13 September 2018

Brockhampton have had a busy year, and are showing no signs of slowing. Following their successful debut UK and European tour, they are soon to embark on their Australian and New Zealand tour before returning to North America in October for further performing.

Amid touring and travelling, their new album Iridescence is set to be released on September 21. And today, the band took to Twitter to announce their new documentary The Longest Summer In America.

The documentary, directed by Dude Heifetz, will explore Brockhampton’s eventful few months. The trailer features the sexual abuse allegations of ex-band member Ameer Van, the recording of their new album in London’s Abbey Road Studios and the band’s reactions to being signed to to RCA.

A premier will be held in Los Angeles on September 17, before screenings go global on September 20, with London dates yet to be announced. Band leader Kevin Abstract posted a cryptic tweet insinuating that the documentary ‘will never be for sale or on the Internet’.
