Alex Clare has returned with ‘Tell Me What You Need’, off his new album ‘Three Days at Greenmount’. Making its initial appearance on his 2016 release, ‘Tail of Lions’, the track has been stripped and reworked to reflect its purest form.
After ‘Too Close’, the second single off his debut album ‘The Lateness of the Hour’, spent thirty-six weeks on the charts in 2012, Clare released two more albums, had a family, and toured the world. For his fourth collection, he hand-picked his favourite tracks from his discography, refashioned them, and lined them up along with a previously unreleased cut, ‘Hope She’ll Be Happier’.
For his new album, Clare says, “Last summer, I locked myself away in Leeds to record, in a three-day session, my most personal songs from my three LPs. ‘Three Days at Greenmount’ is a new rendering of my songs, straight from the heart, recorded 100% analogue for your audible pleasure.”
