ASCAP (American Sociey of Composers, Authors and Publishers) was developed in response to the USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, which highlighted the low levels of female producers currently working within music.

‘She Is The Music’ was similarly established following the Annenberg report. Co-founded by Alicia Keys, the camp promotes inclusivity and increases opportunities for female curators within the industry, while also empowering women in music.
