Billie Eilish – Come Out And Play

‘Come Out And Play’ is the latest single from 16 year old global pop sensation Billie Eilish. The track is a breathy ballad with a nostalgic quality that makes you long for a feeling of comfort. Eilish wrote the song for Apple’s holiday campaign this year and is featured as the soundtrack for the touching Share Your Gifts ad. Eilish has garnered over a billion streams worldwide, and this track carries that momentum into 2019 when Eilish’s debut solo album is set to release.

LION – Fiction

A live favourite, ‘Fiction’ is a high-octane track bursting with energy and bitingly powerful vocals. It’s taken from rising British singer-songwriter LION’s self-titled debut EP, and now comes with raw, live visuals to match.  It’s definitely one to keep your eyes on for 2019.

Clean Cut Kid – Deafening

Fresh off of their comeback EP Painkiller, Clean Cut Kid have unveiled a new single titled ‘Deafening.’ Showcasing a harder-edged rock sound ‘Deafening’ sees a stomping drum beat and fuzzy guitar riff combine to soaring effect. Vocalist, Mike Halls says the track explores the frustration and “the ever present battle between artist and industry.” The band is set to tour the UK this month, and is expected to release their new album in Spring 2019.

Call Me LoopBusiness

Ending an incredible year on an almighty high, Pop’s new saviour Call Me Loop unleashes another fine cut with new single ‘Business’. Slightly more mellow in sound from what we’ve come to know the newcomer for, ‘Business’ was a real highlight amongst her set at the headline London show last weekend. With a debut EP on the horizon, we predict a bright future for the rising star.

Zanillya – In It 4 A Lifetime

Holland’s Zanillya is no short of slow-burning, dancehall tinged R&B, and this might be her best to date. It’s certainly the most intimate song-writing we’ve seen so far; Zanillya explains “struggling with insecurity and self-doubt my entire life, this song came to me in a moment where I had looked within myself and decided to push forward regardless of the circumstances. It was a point in my life where I felt like giving up but then realizing I could never let go”.

Samantha Togni – Practice Makes Perfect

Internationally renowned DJ Samantha Togni returns with jungle-rave anthem ‘Practice Makes Perfect’ and striking, conceptual visuals to match. On the track, Togni comments “The song is about inclusivity and self-liberation. It empowers people to follow what their real path is in life and their real passion and drive.” Alongside her electrifying dance tracks, she has also modelled for Vogue Paris, ASOS, Nike and VICE among others.

Saving Forever – Memories

What better way to cement yourselves as the next big thing in pop-rock than have Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump produce your track? ‘Memories’ demonstrates a thunderous new confidence from the LA based brothers, proving to be their most head-turning new cut to date.

Girl Crush – Radio Silence

Left on read again? Girl Crush are the Swedish/UK duo who know all about it. On the synth-soaked introspective gem, the duo state “we demand instant response from everything. If someone doesn’t get back to us within a minute we freak out. It’s not just the douchebag that doesn’t call you back, it’s how it reflects on yourself and your expectations”.

Rita OraOnly Want You

Rita Ora has released her second full-length album, titled ‘Phoenix’. ‘Only Want You’ proves that Ora will continue to release cathartic, danceable tunes for years to come. Rita is not about imitations; she only wants the best, and will only deliver the best for her fans.

slowtaiDoorman ft. Mura Masa

Northampton talent slowtai drops his ninth single of the year with “Doorman”. This collaboration with Mura Masa is cutting, clever, and energetic. Beginning and ending with vocal samplings from what sounds like a news interview, the track sends a bold message in an enjoyable punk fashion.
