You have worked with some of Hip Hop’s hottest MC’s including Sheck Wes, Migos and some of the A$AP Mob crew, how did you get into the hip hop game?
How I got into the Hip-hop game is that from a young age. I dj’d around London from house parties to clubs. My name got around and from that I built up contacts around the circuit. On that journey I met Mr I Am Next. He runs his own platform for up coming artist in London. Recently he has expanded and booked artists across the globe.
As a producer and DJ do you think your sound is constantly changing? Can you describe it in 5 words or less?
My sound is universal.
What do you want the crowd to feel when listening to your music?
I want the crowd to feel the sonics of the tracks that I play. I want to take them on a journey from old school hip hop to trap to bashment.
Your the official DJ for House of Pharaohs and Ebenezer, can you describe the creative process working with them?
Working with HOP is amazing each MC brings their own flare to the stage and in the studio, they are unique. When I dj for them each artist performs in a different way, it shows there skills.
Working with Ebenezer is very easy, we are both musicians and so sonically we both know what sound we want when we do shows. Currently I am working with him on new music.
You opened up for Sahbabii, how did you two link up?
I linked up with Sahbabii with Mr I Am Next. It was his first headline show in England and so I had to bring some energy to open up for him. It was a great experience.
Who are your biggest influences when it comes to creating new material?
My biggest influences that help me create new music, is the Pharrell Williams, Dr Dre, J Dilla, Kanye West and Travis Scott. They have their own sound that has been moulded from the start of their career.
Your making the move to LA soon to work on some music, can you give us some details on what you’ll be working on or your plans for whilst you’re in the city?
Im going to work with upcoming artist out there. So you have to wait and see for new material. Also I have interview on local radio station out there called IamRadio hosted by Alaysian Varro.
If you could collaborate with any artist dead or alive who would it be?
I would love to make music with Gunna. The way he delivers his music
