This Wednesday 200,000 festival goers will flood to Worthy Farm for the highly anticipated Glastonbury Festival. The festival is returning after 2018’s fallow year, something that happens every six years to give the farm and workers a chance to regroup. This year’s tickets sold out in just a half hour.
The lineup for the festival has over 2,800 acts, including Stormzy, The Killers, Jorja Smith, Janelle Monáe, Pale Waves, King Princess, Miley Cyrus and many more.
It has been announced that this year’s festival will see a new addition to the grounds, a 60 metre pier. The pier has been advertised as having an arcade, buskers, fortune tellers, and even more entertainment. As for the festival itself, there will be 79 stages and over 400 food vendors.
The festival will be taking place from Wednesday 26 June until Sunday 30 June 2019. Along with a killer lineup and entertainment, festival-goers can look forward to amazing weather all weekend. Make sure to stash that extra umbrella though, just in case!
